DISCLAIMER: Since my genealogy site is primarily intended for Americans searching for their Luxembourg ancestors, I have taken the ‘liberty’ of using the surnames and given names commonly used in America. For example, the Luxembourg birth record for my great-grandfather states Franz Arends born to Nicolas Arends, whereas, in my file he is “Francis Arens” and his father is Nicholas Arens.
